Erica Williams is a Senior Policy Analyst with the State Fiscal Project. Since joining the Center in 2009, her work has focused on cuts to state services, tax and spending limits and other anti-tax threats, EITC developments, and trends in poverty. She also provides assistance to state groups.

Prior to joining the Center, Williams worked as a Study Director at the Institute for Women’s Policy Research, where she researched a variety of issues of concern to women including equal pay, job training and education, early care and education, Social Security, and civic engagement.

Williams holds a B.A. in Sociology and Spanish Studies from Santa Clara University and an M.A. in International Policy from the Monterey Institute of International Studies.
