Libby Haight
Libby Haight joined the International Budget Partnership in January 2010 as Program Officer for the Partnership Initiative. She is based in Mexico City.
Haight is responsible for coordinating the 6 Question Campaign – a campaign supporting the right to access to public budget information. Since 2004, Haight has lived in Mexico working on transparency and accountability issues in public spending on rural development policy. Through the applied research project "Exercising Information Rights for Accountability: Rural Development Policy Monitoring in Mexico" at the University of California, Santa Cruz, Haight has collaborated with national and local civil society organizations in Mexico on issues related to agricultural subsidy policy, health rights in rural communities, and social policy.
She holds a BA in International Relations from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities, and a Master of Public Policy from the University of Chicago.
